Baptisms

Baptisms are held at the 8.30am service on the second Sunday of the month and at the 10.30am service on the third Sunday of the month. Because Baptism is such an important act of God's grace and because it is often not very well understood, parents will meet with the Pastor to talk about the meaning and significance of Baptism. Weddings

St Peter's is available for weddings throughout the year.

If you are thinking of getting married, and would like to have your wedding at St Peter's, we would encourage you to make enquiries and/or bookings through the Ministry Centre (08 8584 5522) or by email: mail@stpetersloxton.org.au. An information package will be sent out to you outlining all the necessary requirements.

All couples are expected to complete a pre-marriage course before the wedding. Couples are asked to complete a PREPARE Questionnaire, which will make them more aware of their relationship's growth and strength areas. These will be discussed in private sessions with the Pastor at which the service details will also be arranged.

Funerals

Death is a time of great pain. There may be shock or numbness or anger. There may be feelings of relief if it has been a long drawn out illness. Sometimes there may be feelings of guilt. There are very few rules when it comes to feelings and mourning takes it own path and sets its own timetable.

Funeral services are also the time for telling a person's story. It is important to take time to do this well, to celebrate a person's life as something precious given by God.

As you grieve for your loved one, we assure you of our care, our prayers, and our desire to serve your needs as best as we are able. Our intention is to share the love and hope and comfort that Jesus brings, with you. Pastor can help you structure the service, select verses and hymns. Do contact Pastor as soon as possible when you are planning a funeral with the Funeral Director.
