Our Mission

Living and Sharing Jesus' gift of love and hope with all people

Every year, we hold a Strategic Mission Directions Planning Day at which we prioritise the actions/direction that we believe God is calling us to do in the following year as well as looking at longer term plans. A copy of our current plan is available from the Ministry Centre.

To focus us in our ministry, we have developed goals in the following areas.

Ministry and Care
In living for Jesus, we will provide a ministry responsive to the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of all people that is loving, supporting, encouraging and welcoming, so that people experience respect, acceptance and care.

Education
We will help people live for Jesus by facilitating a comprehensive life long learning process to enable the growth of all people.

Worship and Music
We will provide a worship and music programme that will involve, uplift and inspire all people to worship Jesus in their daily lives.

Evangelism
Everyone Sharing… Jesus with others

Community
We are living to share Jesus by creating a presence in the community through which we can build relationships.

Support
Our aims to achieve the goals of Ministry and Care, Education, Music & Worship, Evangelism and Community will be supported by using the following:

• Buildings and Facilities
  We will ensure appropriate buildings, plant and facilities to best match the mission requirements of the congregation and community.
• Staff (People Resources)
  We will develop and maintain an effective team to serve and support our mission
• Structures
  We will ensure the most effective organisational structures are in place to best meet our mission objectives.
• Financial
  We will develop a culture of joyful and responsible giving which best supports our mission
