Little Rocks aims to:

- share and reinforce the basic stories of the Bible so that they become part of the living memory of our young.
- connect the children's story with God's big picture for their lives.
Step-Up-To-Communion
Step-Up-To-Communion is a six-week program designed to help young people together with their parents prepare for the sacrament of Holy Communion.
Here at St Peter's we encourage young people from the age of seven to Step-Up-to Communion and receive the blessings that Christ offers as he comes to us in a real and personal way.
This six-week program is run at various times during the year as the need arises. Please contact the Ministry Centre for details on the next course.

- To teach our kids how to pray and connect with God through his Word.
- To reinforce the basic Bible Stories in the hearts of these young people
- To strengthen their faith as they hear the stories of how God has been at work in the lives of people in the congregation.
Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is a fun, relational program designed for those aged 10-12.
Stepping Stones is about assisting in the formation of faith. It is not primarily about knowledge but about helping our young people grow in their communication with God and their understanding of how he works in their life.
Stepping Stones is held on six Monday's each term and runs for 90 minutes at the Loxton Lutheran School Multi-purpose room.
Stepping Stones is:
- Biblical: The Bible will be affirmed as the life-giving Word of God
- Lutheran: We will affirm the Lutheran understanding of the faith, thus the use of the Small Catechism.
- Relevant: We will begin with the young people in focus and introduce the faith to them from their own context.
- Relationship Orientated: We want to help young people grow in their understanding of the call to live as disciples of Jesus for other people in life's entire dimension.
